As the first mass-produced pure electric vehicle product created by Audi brand, e-tron has received good market response since its launch in 2018. It is precisely because of this car that Audi’s new energy road has developed rapidly, and this “veteran” product will also usher in a change.
Recently, a group of spy photos of the road test of the new Audi e-tron Sportback model were taken by foreign media. As a medium-term modified model, the overall shape of the new car has not been greatly adjusted, and the camouflage areas of the test car, such as front and rear surround, air inlet grille and headlamp group area, are expected to be redesigned. It is said that the new car will be officially unveiled at the end of 2022.
From the appearance point of view, the overall shape of the new car is not significantly different from the current models on sale. The main changes are reflected in the details, such as the air inlet grille, front and rear surround and the interior shape of the headlamp group, or all adopt new design to make it look more in line with the current aesthetic standards.
The most classic design of the new Audi e-tron Sportback is the sliding back shape on the side. The smooth lines make the whole body jump and very dynamic. The changes in the rear of the car are mainly concentrated in the tail lamp. The tail lamp group of the new car looks more slender. According to the pseudo decorative strip, we infer that the new car will continue to use the design of through tail lamp group.
In terms of power, the new car is expected to be equipped with a new powertrain, including a more powerful motor and a larger battery pack. The increase of the battery pack can increase the endurance of the new car from 400km to 600km in the overseas version. With the intensification of market competition, Audi still hopes to continue the market competitiveness of e-tron by changing the model.
