Toyota recently unveiled its new race car for the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and will debut the 2022 NASCAR Toyota Tundra TRD Pro at Daytona International Speedway next February.
NASCAR, short for National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, is a popular automotive event in the United States. With more than 150 million people watching the race each year, and television ratings far exceeding those of sports such as baseball, basketball and football, it has been called the “Formula One” race for Americans.
Toyota has always taken the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series seriously, winning 11 manufacturer championships in the series since 2004, and is expected to continue to take home the trophy this season. The all-new Toyota Tundra TRD Pro continues the Toyota racing style that is very similar to that of the production car.
Joining this car in NASCAR are the Toyota Camry TRD, which debuted this May, and the Toyota Supra, competing in the Next Gen Cup Series and Xfinity Series, respectively.
Editor’s Note: As a manufacturer, Toyota has taken it to the next level with the arrival of the new Tundra. The new vehicle also has an aggressive look, and the guys will soon be able to catch a glimpse of it in the Camping World Truck Series.
